Description
The Community Reentry Reinvestment Grant / Pathway to Employment (CRRG/P2E) is administered by the Tennessee Office of Reentry within the Tennessee Department of Labor and Workforce Development. It supports organizations delivering coordinated workforce and reentry services to help justice-involved individuals overcome employment barriers, improve reentry outcomes, and reduce recidivism.
Funded programs must combine employment-focused training, work-based learning, case management, and supportive services to prepare participants for permanent, unsubsidized employment. The program prioritizes partnerships with Workforce Development Boards, community-based organizations, and employers that address region-specific labor market needs. Grantees establish pathways into in-demand industries, working with employers committed to fair-chance hiring and/or on-the-job training to support long-term workforce attachment.
