Description
The Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) is a federally funded program administered by the Tennessee Department of Human Services (TDHS). Its primary goal is to reduce poverty and promote self-sufficiency among Tennessee residents by supporting a statewide network of 20 Community Action Agencies (CAAs). These agencies deliver a variety of services tailored to local needs, including emergency assistance, job development, adult education, financial management, housing, health, and nutrition support.
