Description
The Central Alabama Community Foundation’s Community Trust Grants support nonprofit services and programs that improve quality of life in Lowndes, Macon and Montgomery counties. This cycle focuses on Family Wellness—covering family, food and medical support—and Education. The program directs charitable support toward community needs in the River Region.
Funding is for services and programs rather than research, start-up costs, regular operating support or capital projects. Educational and social service programs offered by faith-based organizations are eligible, but grants do not support religious purposes. Family, food and medical grants are awarded in May, while education grants are awarded in June.
