Description
Community Trust Grants support services and programs provided by nonprofits in East Alabama. The East Alabama Community Foundation (EACF), an affiliate of the Central Alabama Community Foundation, serves Chambers, Lee, Russell, and Tallapoosa counties. Its grantmaking addresses local needs through nonprofit projects and programs across education, health, human services, cultural arts, recreation, historic preservation, and other civic concerns.
This grant cycle focuses on program and service delivery rather than research, organizational financing, or capital projects. Educational and social service programs offered by faith-based organizations are eligible, but activities undertaken for religious purposes are not funded. The program also excludes fundraising activities, endowments, start-up costs, and partisan political advocacy.
