Description
The Community Wildfire Defense Grant, administered by the Tennessee Department of Agriculture Division of Forestry, is designed to help communities, groups, and organizations across Tennessee strengthen their wildfire prevention and mitigation strategies. This program provides both technical and financial support for projects that build resilience and reduce wildfire risks at the community level. Eligible activities include developing or updating community wildfire protection plans, conducting outreach and education, and implementing infrastructure and resilience projects aligned with the National Cohesive Wildland Fire Management Strategy.
