Description
The Community Foundation for Palm Beach and Martin Counties supports local nonprofit projects through an open competitive grantmaking process. Funding serves year-round projects and summer programs that address community challenges and align with the Foundation’s mission, vision, values, and standards of integrity and impact. Its four strategic focus areas are Economic Opportunity, Education and Youth, Thriving Communities, and Capacity Building.
The program seeks to help residents reach their full potential through workforce preparation, youth development, healthier and more vibrant communities, and a stronger nonprofit sector. The Community Impact team reviews proposed approaches, staffing, budgets, and projected outcomes. Year-round applicants begin with a Letter of Inquiry (LOI), while summer applicants use a one-step proposal process. The Community Impact Committee recommends awards to the Board of Directors for final approval.
