Description
The Comprehensive Opioid, Stimulant, and Substance Abuse Program (COSSAP) provides financial and technical assistance for comprehensive responses to illicit opioids, stimulants, and other drugs of abuse. Developed as part of the Comprehensive Addiction and Recovery Act, it supports efforts to identify people affected by these substances, respond to their needs, provide treatment, and offer ongoing support.
The Ohio Office of Criminal Justice Services (OCJS) administers the program. It works with Quick Response Teams throughout Ohio and with data collection and evaluation partners. The program can support the development of new efforts, their implementation, or the expansion of work already underway.
