    Description

Concern Foundation’s Conquer Cancer Now Award provides seed support for promising early-career cancer researchers. Run by Concern Foundation for Cancer Research, an independent, volunteer-driven organization established in 1968, the program supports innovative, hypothesis-driven projects in cancer genetics, cancer biology, and cancer immunology. Its goals are to advance understanding of cancer biology, improve approaches to cancer, and develop the next generation of cancer research scientists.

Proposals are accepted every two years. The program emphasizes significant, original research with a strong scientific premise and feasible aims, rather than clinical trials, cancer epidemiology, or behavioral studies. A Scientific Review Committee of cancer researchers from institutions in the United States and abroad evaluates proposals and recommends applications to the Foundation’s Executive Board for funding.
