    Description

The Physiological Society’s Conference Attendance Award supports member engagement primarily at the Society’s own meetings and, where funding allows, at Society-sponsored events. It funds participation in research and teaching conferences rather than standalone research projects. Support covers conference registration and meeting dinners, with remaining funds contributing towards standard-class travel and accommodation.

Eligible meetings span physiology education, environmental and exercise extremes, immune-system roles in health and disease, and the limits of human performance. The programme also supports meetings focused on showcasing research, enhancing careers and building physiology communities. Awards are reimbursed after attendance, on provision of receipts, and postgraduate, Full and Fellow applicants must submit or present an abstract at their chosen meeting.
