Funding Amounts: Up to $1,000 per single-day event or $2,000 per multi-day event; maximum $2,000 per organization per fiscal year, paid by reimbursement

Description
The Oklahoma Tobacco Settlement Endowment Trust (TSET) provides Conference and Training Sponsorships to organizers of educational and capacity-building events that further its mission. The program emphasizes collaboration and partnership to improve the health of Oklahomans, particularly children and older adults. It supports single-day and multi-day conferences, trainings and other events in areas including research, health care services and community health.
Eligible event purposes include tobacco-use prevention and cessation, prevention of tobacco-related illnesses such as cancer and cardiovascular disease, improved health care services, innovative approaches to physical activity, and healthy food and nutrition. Events must have relevance and impact across Oklahoma, through participants representing multiple regions or through knowledge, training and resources that reach communities beyond the event.
