The Congressional Black Caucus Foundation (CBCF) Congressional Fellowships program is a 12-month, full-time policy training and leadership development initiative. It is designed for early career policy professionals who are committed to public service and interested in contributing to public policy. Fellows participate as legislative aides and policy analysts, engaging in legislative research, policy development, constituent services, and committee work. The program includes a six-month placement in the office of a Congressional Black Caucus member, followed by a six-month placement with a congressional committee or subcommittee aligned with the fellow's interests. Fellows benefit from professional development sessions, networking opportunities, and membership in an extensive alumni network.
