Connection Grants fund events and outreach activities that promote the exchange, synthesis, and mobilization of research knowledge in the social sciences and humanities. The program aims to foster disciplinary, interdisciplinary, cross-sectoral, and international exchanges, supporting workshops, conferences, forums, summer institutes, documentaries, and more. These short-term initiatives are intended to catalyze longer-term collaborations and research partnerships, helping bridge the gap between research and its practical application in society.
SSHRC welcomes proposals involving Indigenous research and research-creation, as well as projects supporting research data management capacity or sustainable agriculture knowledge mobilization (see Additional Information).
