Description
This program, led by the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine, is designed to strengthen the scientific community among early-career researchers in Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC). Through partnerships with academic institutions, NGOs, and science academy networks such as IANAS and ACAL, it provides a robust online knowledge repository, networking workshops, and annual symposia. The LAC Connections Fellowships support collaborative research exchanges, enabling emerging scientists to stay connected to the latest research, foster professional networks, and build leadership skills. The program aims to empower young scientists to pursue impactful careers in their home countries and encourages transdisciplinary dialogue and collaboration across the region and with North American counterparts.
