Description
The Nevada Division of Forestry offers this grant in partnership with the United States Forest Service to expand conservation education for Nevada communities. It supports programs and materials that help people make informed land management decisions and advance the conservation and restoration goals of the Nevada Forest, Range, and Watershed Action Plan.
Programs may serve any age group and address topics such as water quality, wildland fire safety, sustainable natural resource management, invasive species, wildlife habitat, and outdoor recreation. The division gives priority consideration to programs serving rural Nevada communities with fewer than 20,000 residents.
