Description
The Conservation Leadership Programme (CLP) is a global capacity-building initiative led by the Wildlife Conservation Society in partnership with BirdLife International and Fauna & Flora International. The program is dedicated to fostering the next generation of conservation leaders in developing countries by providing annual grants, internships, training, and mentoring to early-career teams and exceptional young conservationists. In addition to direct project funding, CLP offers ongoing professional development through its alumni network, including advanced training, networking, and mentorship opportunities. The primary focus is on projects addressing threatened species and building leadership capacity in conservation.
