    Description

    The State Library of Ohio administers this grant in partnership with the Ohio Preservation Council and the America 250-Ohio Commission. It supports libraries in conserving one collection item or preserving a small, discrete group of items. Eligible materials include all analog formats, such as books and paper, objects, and artwork.

    The program focuses on unique materials with cultural or monetary value that reflect the holding institution’s mission and values and some element of Ohio’s historic and artistic record. It advances the State Library’s Five-Year LSTA Plan and the America 250-Ohio Commission’s efforts to highlight Ohio’s contributions to the nation’s past, present, and future. Funding comes from the Institute of Museum and Library Services through the federal Library Services and Technology Act Grants to States program.
