Description
The Conservation Stewardship Program (CSP) provides financial and technical assistance to agricultural and forest producers who increase conservation activities as part of managing their land. It compensates producers for expanding the conservation work they carry out on agricultural or forest land.
The Natural Resource Conservation Service (NRCS) provides CSP assistance. The Arizona Department of Emergency and Military Affairs (DEMA) includes CSP in its mitigation-grant listing, but CSP is distinct from the Stafford Act hazard mitigation programs administered by DEMA’s Mitigation and Public Assistance branches.
