Description
The Whitley Fund for Nature's Continuation Funding program provides competitive, follow-on grants to previous Whitley Award winners, enabling them to expand and sustain effective nature-based conservation projects. The grant supports initiatives that address biodiversity loss, climate change, and landscape degradation, emphasizing measurable impact and scientific rigor. Projects can be terrestrial, marine, or freshwater, and must be locally led, with a focus on holistic and scalable solutions that benefit both nature and people. Continuation Funding is awarded annually and is a key component of WFN’s long-term commitment to empowering influential conservation leaders in the Global South.
