Description
The Continuum of Care (CoC) Program, administered by the Alaska Housing Finance Corporation (AHFC), is designed to promote community-wide planning and strategic use of resources to address homelessness across Alaska. The program aims to improve coordination with mainstream resources, enhance data collection and performance measurement, and support tailored local responses to homelessness. Funding supports long-term stable housing, rapid rehousing for individuals and families experiencing homelessness, and targeted assistance for persons fleeing domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking. AHFC also operates a grant match assistance fund to help qualified applicants meet federal CoC grant match requirements.
