The ASEEES Dissertation Research Grant Program provides financial support to PhD candidates enrolled at US universities who are conducting dissertation research in Eastern Europe or Eurasia. The grant is open to students from any discipline whose research addresses any aspect of Slavic, East European, or Eurasian studies. The award is intended to help doctoral candidates advance their scholarly work through in-region research, with several special topic grants available (e.g., Russian Studies, Environmental Studies, Gender Studies, Ukrainian Studies, Folklore, and History).
