Description
The American Chemical Society’s Convergent Chemistry Communities (CCC) Grant helps ACS Divisions and members build new collaborative communities around emerging science and technology themes or highly multidisciplinary topics. It targets areas not adequately addressed by existing divisional activities or other funding mechanisms, helping ACS respond to changing needs across the chemical enterprise.
Supported activities extend beyond collaborative programming to workshops, discussion groups, panel discussions, and community-specific websites and databases. Proposals should establish new interactions across divisions, explain the novelty of their activities, and address diversity and inclusivity. The program also seeks plans to sustain communities beyond the funding period and encourages participating divisions to look beyond their current membership to attract and engage new ACS and divisional members.
