CooperVision’s Science and Technology Awards support groundbreaking research in myopia control, inviting young and established researchers worldwide to explore technologies and approaches that could disrupt current treatment paradigms. The program aims to translate ambitious, forward-thinking ideas into practical vision-care solutions and foster ongoing scientific collaboration.
The current offering is the Seedling Award, designed to initiate a collaboration with CooperVision in a new research area over one year. Its focus includes new myopia prevention and control technologies, biomarkers of treatment response, mechanisms of myopia onset and progression, treatment-related changes in children younger than seven, and factors influencing initial therapy selection. The rolling submission model replaces previous annual calls and supports early-stage concepts in myopia-related science.
