Corazón Grants, administered by the Community Foundation for Southern Arizona (CFSA), provide flexible funding to established nonprofit organizations deeply rooted in Southern Arizona. Organizations can direct funds where they are needed most, including responding to emerging issues, strengthening salaries and benefits, investing in technology and infrastructure, or building communications and fundraising capacity. The program rests on mutual trust and the belief that organizations understand their own needs.
Corazón expands CFSA’s competitive grantmaking to larger nonprofits outside CORE’s eligibility range. It recognizes organizations with a significant and sustained community role, emphasizing trusted relationships, belonging, well-being, and access to opportunity. The program also values leadership and partnership beyond direct service delivery, organizational strength, and mission-relevant evaluation that helps organizations learn, adapt, and sustain meaningful impact.
