This program provides U.S. scholars with the opportunity to teach or teach and conduct research at Finnish universities and universities of applied sciences, in any academic discipline. The award is designed to foster collaboration, knowledge exchange, and the internationalization of education and research between Finland and the United States. Scholars are expected to engage actively with their host institution in both teaching and research, contribute to academic and professional communities, and serve as cultural ambassadors. The Fulbright Finland Foundation offers additional support services, including orientation, networking opportunities, and access to a global professional network.
