Description
Brown University’s Core Research Facility (CRF) Infrastructure Program supports the development of specialized core research facilities and the maintenance of their equipment. Administered and disbursed by the Division of Research, the program strengthens shared infrastructure that enables research at Brown and provides essential technical capacities to local and regional investigators.
Core research facilities help Brown increase its competitiveness for external grant funding, attract top faculty members, students and postdoctoral researchers, and facilitate multidisciplinary collaboration. The program focuses on sustaining these facilities and the instruments that underpin their research services. Applications are open to directors of existing, approved core facilities that support research at Brown.
