Description
The Community Foundation for Greater New Haven’s Core Support program provides general operating support to nonprofits based in and serving its 20-town region. Rather than restricting funding to a specific project or activity, the program supports an organization’s overall mission and work. Recipients can direct spending where it is needed most, allowing greater flexibility and focus on achieving their missions.
Grants are available for one, two or three years. The program is intended for established nonprofits with continuous active programming under a 501(c)(3) designation or fiscal sponsor. General operating support can include administrative and shared expenses, reflecting the Foundation’s commitment to strengthening nonprofit infrastructure.
