--- ## Description The American Chemical Society (ACS) Committee on Corporation Associates offers funding to ACS local sections and international chapters to support the organization of industry-focused events. This grant is designed to subsidize costs for events such as job fairs with local chemical employers, safety events, résumé writing workshops, networking receptions, panel discussions with industry leaders, and similar forums. The purpose is to enhance professional development, foster industry engagement, and benefit ACS members employed in the chemical industry. --- ## Due Dates - July 15, 2025 (Fall ACS Meeting review) - February 1, 2026 (Spring ACS Meeting review) Submissions are reviewed after each deadline, and applicants are notified by the end of the respective season (late spring for February submissions, by fall for July submissions). --- ## Funding Amount - Maximum of $1,000 per application - Funding is provided to support a single event or a series of related activities per local section or international chapter per cycle --- ## Eligibility - Applicants must be ACS local sections or international chapters. - The proposed event(s) must have a clear focus on benefiting industry members within the chemical sciences. - Events should promote professional development, networking, or engagement with local chemical industry employers or leaders. - Only one grant per section/chapter per cycle is typically awarded. --- ## Application Process 1. **Prepare a proposal** detailing: - The type and description of the planned industry-related event(s) - The expected benefits for industry members - Estimated number of attendees and proportion of industry participants - Total budget requested (up to $1,000) - Any additional funding sources or partnerships 2. **Submit the application** via the [ACS grant portal](https://www.grantinterface.com/Home/Logon?urlkey=acs). 3. Applications are reviewed by the Committee on Corporation Associates after each cycle deadline (February 1 and July 15). 4. **Notification:** Applicants are informed of decisions by late spring (for February submissions) or by fall (for July submissions). 5. **Reporting:** Awardees must complete a brief report on the funded activity, due by December (for spring grants) or June of the following year (for fall grants).
