Description
The Council on Undergraduate Research (CUR) Psychology Division offers a limited number of awards to undergraduates conducting original psychological research. Research awards can cover supplies and other project expenses; presentation awards can cover travel and conference registration. Projects may include honors research or student-directed independent study, but students must be the primary investigators.
The division considers the scholarly merit of the research plan, students’ roles in developing and carrying out the project, and how the experience contributes to their long-term goals. Where applicable, applicants may describe how the researchers or project contribute to diversity, equity, and inclusion in psychology.
