Description
This grant program, administered by the Iowa Department of Natural Resources through the Resource Enhancement and Protection (REAP) initiative, provides competitive funding to Iowa counties for projects that enhance and protect natural and cultural resources. Eligible counties may use funds for land easements or acquisition, capital improvements, resource stabilization and protection, environmental education, and other county conservation purposes. The program is designed to support the long-term stewardship of Iowa’s diverse environmental and cultural assets.
