Description
The National Court Reporters Foundation (NCRF) runs this grant to help eligible NCRA members develop CART captioning skills, regardless of their current reporting specialty. Formerly the NCRF Court to CART Grant, it was renamed in 2026 and was established in memory of Eligio Antonio Rosario Sr.
Under the guidance of Patricia Graves, FAPR, RDR, CRR, CRC, recipients receive a realtime skills assessment, individualized mentoring, hands-on training, instruction in current CART technology, and educational resources. Training emphasizes readable, understandable realtime text and learning about the communities CART providers serve. The program aims to expand communication accessibility as demand for skilled CART providers grows.
