This annual recognition, administered by the Computing Research Association (CRA), honors individuals or organizations that have made exceptional, sustained contributions to increasing the participation and success of groups who have been marginalized in the computing research community. The award spotlights impactful work in government affairs, educational programs, professional societies, public awareness, and leadership that advances diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) in computing research. It is named in memory of A. Nico Habermann, a leader dedicated to broadening participation in technology and computing.
