Description
The CRA/Nurse Travel Support Program, funded by the Hope Foundation, provides financial support for Clinical Research Associates (CRAs) and nurses who are members of the SWOG Cancer Research Network to attend the network’s annual meetings. The goal is to foster professional development, engagement, and participation in SWOG activities by removing financial barriers to meeting attendance. The program covers essential travel expenses—specifically three nights of lodging, coach airfare, ground transportation, and reimbursed meals (excluding alcohol). Funding is awarded through a competitive application process, and support is non-transferable, ensuring only selected, invited individuals may utilize the award.
