Description
The Hope Foundation’s CRA/Nurse Travel Support Program helps clinical research associates (CRAs) and nurses who are members of SWOG Cancer Research Network attend the network’s spring and fall group meetings. It provides practical assistance with meeting-related travel and accommodation rather than funding a separate research project.
SWOG group meetings bring members together to collaborate with network experts and access current trial information, tools, and training. The program supports participation by covering three nights of lodging, coach airfare, ground transportation, and reimbursement for meals, excluding alcohol. Applications are considered for the next upcoming SWOG meeting, and the Foundation reviews requests and directly notifies selected travelers.
