This award recognizes full-time faculty at North American academic institutions who have demonstrated outstanding mentorship of undergraduate students in computing research, particularly by providing significant research experiences and guiding students toward admission and matriculation into research-focused graduate programs. The award highlights sustained mentoring over the past decade, the professional development of students, and the impact on students’ research success and career trajectories. Multiple recipients may be selected annually, and awardees receive recognition and travel support to attend a major conference or the annual CRA Summit.
