Description
This Horizon Europe call funds research and innovation actions (RIA) aimed at leveraging the cultural and creative sectors and industries (CCSI) to drive the transition to a circular economy across Europe. Projects should deepen understanding of the cultural dimension of circularity, develop scalable and inclusive business models, and create practical toolkits for applying frugal, CCSI-inspired innovation in crafts, built heritage, food heritage, and creative design. The call encourages the development of policy recommendations, training modules, and frameworks that integrate circular economy principles, with a strong emphasis on local adaptation, knowledge transfer, and cross-sector collaboration. The ultimate goal is to foster sustainable, resilient, and culturally rooted circular systems and societies.
