Description
The Craniofacial Biology Research Award recognizes researchers who have contributed to the body of knowledge in craniofacial biology over a significant period of time and whose contributions are accepted by the scientific community. Funded by the American Association for Dental, Oral, and Craniofacial Research, it is administered by the International Association for Dental Research (IADR) as part of the IADR Distinguished Scientist Awards.
This is recognition of sustained research achievement. Selection considers contributions throughout a nominee’s career, including publications in refereed journals, research funded through peer review, and other scholarly activities. The award emphasizes the impact of that work on craniofacial biology, the profession of dentistry, and health services as a whole.
