Description
The State Council of Higher Education for Virginia (SCHEV) offers this grant through its Fund for Excellence and Innovation. The fund seeks to expand affordable student pathways through collaboration among public school divisions, community colleges and universities, and to support shared services and efficiencies that reduce costs. This opportunity focuses on preparing students to learn and work in an AI-forward world, responding to AI-related workforce needs, and using AI in instruction and student support.
Teams choose between expanding an existing regional AI activity and procuring new shared services while creating a community of practice. Potential work includes AI-related outreach and curricula, faculty development, student-support tools, stackable credentials, programs for nontraditional learners, and improvements to transfer pathways. Grantees assess impacts and share results.
