Description
Creation Africa is a program initiated by Institut français, with support from the Fonds Équipe France Création of the French Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs. Its goal is to empower and transform partnerships within the African Cultural and Creative Industries (CCIs) by fostering collaboration between African and French professionals across sectors such as digital creation, fashion, audiovisual, immersive realities, music, design, architecture, video games, performing arts, and more.
The program operates through three main components:
- A dedicated online platform for CCI professionals in Africa and France, facilitating networking, sharing resources, and accessing calls for projects.
- Initiatives to strengthen local industries and develop partnerships, including mentoring for entrepreneurs, sector mapping, support for key events, funding for innovative projects, and professional exchanges.
- Support for the French cultural network abroad, aiming to transform France-Africa relations through community-building and mobility programs.
Creation Africa is open to a wide range of actors, including entrepreneurs, project leaders, associations, and cultural operators in the CCI sector.
