Creation Africa is an initiative by Institut français, backed by the Fonds Équipe France Création of the French Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs, designed to accelerate the growth, international visibility, and sustainability of African Cultural and Creative Industries (CCIs). Launched in 2023, the program connects African and French professionals across sectors such as architecture, visual arts, cinema, digital creation, literature, crafts, design, performing arts, music, video games, and eSports. The initiative offers a digital platform for networking, sector mapping, tailored mentoring, targeted funding, and support for participation in major industry events and mobility programs. It aims to foster partnerships, enhance local industry structures, and champion innovation in Africa’s creative landscape.
