Description
The Oklahoma Arts Council’s Creative Aging Partnership Grants help organizations create or expand arts learning opportunities for adults ages 55 and older across Oklahoma. Supported classes, residencies, and workshops emphasize sequential, hands-on skill building led by qualified teaching artists. The program aims to strengthen participants’ sense of purpose, community connections, health and wellness, and continued learning.
Grantees also participate in a creative aging cohort and receive mentorship, training, and technical support. Funding from the Tobacco Settlement Endowment Trust supports the program’s goal of enhancing older adults’ health and well-being.
