Description
The Arab Fund for Arts and Culture (AFAC) supports the production of creative and critical writing connected to arts and culture from the Arab region. The program covers arts and culture criticism, original and adapted children’s and youth literature, graphic novels, publication of short stories and poetry, and digital literary publishing platforms.
Grants can support research and development as part of production, alongside materials, space or equipment rentals, and artistic and technical labor. AFAC welcomes work by individuals as well as projects from collectives, institutions and organizations. The program’s annual call is part of AFAC’s first of two open calls for its grant programs.
