Description
The Arizona Commission on the Arts provides Creative Capacity Grants to organizations whose primary mission is to produce, present, teach, or serve the arts in Arizona. This is general operating support: applicants do not need to propose a new project. Eligible costs include personnel, artistic and production needs, accessibility services, and routine administrative expenses.
The program considers an organization’s ability to carry out its mission, the quality and responsiveness of its programs, its engagement with creative workers and communities, its public benefit, and its fiscal practices. Application requirements differ by organization size. Returning grantees follow a three-year cycle, submitting a full application once and shorter alternate-year applications in the other two years.
