Description
The Creative Communities Initiative, administered by the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts, is designed to fund multi-year, community-driven arts projects that act as catalysts for social cohesion, livability, and both community and economic development across Pennsylvania. Rooted in the principles of creative placemaking and placekeeping, the program encourages the integration of art, local creative sector assets, and community identity to transform public spaces into vibrant, inclusive, and engaging environments. The initiative seeks to strengthen communities through the arts, empower grassroots leaders, celebrate unique local identities, and promote collaboration among stakeholders.
