Creative Europe’s MEDIA strand supports the concept development and prototyping of narrative video games and interactive narrative immersive experiences. Managed by the European Education and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA), the call targets European video game producers, XR studios and audiovisual production companies developing original content and/or quality gameplay for commercial exploitation on PCs, consoles, mobile devices and other technologies.
The programme seeks to strengthen European production capacity and international competitiveness while enabling European developers to retain intellectual property. Projects should demonstrate originality, innovation, creative value, commercial ambition and cross-border potential. Applications must also present strategies for environmental sustainability, gender balance, inclusion, diversity and representativeness. Support covers pre-production through delivery of the first prototype, not the subsequent production phase.
