Description
The Creative Projects Grant (CPG) from the Illinois Arts Council provides financial support for arts projects by Illinois artists, not-for-profit organizations, and eligible government entities. The grant is designed to foster the creation and public sharing of new artistic work, requiring that each funded project culminate in a public presentation or release. CPG is open to a wide range of disciplines—including visual arts, music, literature, digital media, performance, folk and traditional arts, and more—and encourages diverse applicants, including those from ethnic and community-based backgrounds. The program is administered regionally, with funds available on a first-come, first-served basis until each region’s allocation is expended.
