Description
Created and reviewed by the Arizona Commission on the Arts’ AZ Youth Arts Council, the Creative Youth Grant invests in young artists whose proposed activities or purchases could advance their development and offer public benefit. It supports creative work outside the traditional school day rather than classroom study.
Artists may seek support for private lessons or workshops, materials and supplies, equipment, instruments or technology related to their practice, and travel costs. Reviewers consider what each artist plans to do with the funds, the potential impact on that artist, and whether the plan can be carried out.
