Description

This grant, offered by the Cancer Research Institute (CRI) in partnership with the Chordoma Foundation, aims to accelerate the translation of immunological discoveries into effective therapies for chordoma—a rare cancer of the skull base and spine. The program funds projects that bridge basic immunology and clinical application, supporting research that leverages laboratory findings to address clinical challenges, translates preclinical insights into new therapies, and brings patient observations back to inform fundamental research. The overarching goal is to foster next-generation immunotherapies and improve outcomes for chordoma patients through a dynamic, bidirectional exchange between lab and clinic.
