Description
Sponsored by Williams College’s Office of the Dean of the Faculty, the Cross-institutional Collaborative Workshop Fund helps faculty convene colleagues from other colleges and universities around subjects of mutual interest. It particularly encourages collaboration with other liberal arts colleges. Workshops may address research, curricula, or pedagogy through disciplinary or interdisciplinary exchange, on a co-organizer’s campus or alongside a professional meeting.
The fund is intended to sustain this kind of collaboration after the AALAC Faculty Workshop Program ends in 2026. It prioritizes workshops that build lasting cross-institutional relationships in scholarship, creative work, or teaching, with broad impact and meaningful follow-up.
