Description
The Center for Research on Race and Ethnicity in Society (CRRES) at Indiana University Bloomington offers two-year postdoctoral fellowships for new scholars studying race and ethnicity across the social sciences and humanities. Fellows pursue research in their primary fields while gaining mentored experience as teachers, CRRES fellows, and members of faculty in host departments. The program aims to prepare scholars to address broad questions of race and ethnicity through a multidisciplinary lens.
For the 2026–27 search, CRRES is particularly interested in candidates based in Criminology and Criminal Justice, Psychological and Brain Sciences, or Anthropology with a focus on Human Biology. It welcomes research intersecting with African American and African Diaspora Studies, Native and Indigenous Studies, Latinx Studies, or Asian American Studies.
