The Adele Filene Student Presenter Grant, administered by the Costume Society of America (CSA), provides financial support to student members who have been selected to present oral research papers or research exhibits at the CSA National Symposium. Established in honor of Adele Filene, a founding member and influential figure in costume studies, the grant aims to foster the professional development of emerging scholars in the field. Recipients receive funding to cover the day-of-presentation registration fee and, if travel is required, up to $600 in additional expenses. Two grants are awarded annually.
