Description
The Adele Filene Student Presenter Grant, offered by the Costume Society of America (CSA), provides financial support to student members who have been selected to present oral research papers or research exhibits at the CSA National Symposium. Established to honor Adele Filene, a founding member and Fellow of CSA, the grant aims to foster the professional development of students in the field of costume studies. Each year, two recipients are selected based on scholarly merit, professional promise, and engagement with the discipline. The grant covers the day-of-presentation registration fee and can provide up to $600 for travel expenses to attend the in-person symposium.
