Description
The CSBS Small Grant Program, administered by the Center for Social & Behavioral Science at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign (UIUC), funds ambitious and innovative research projects in the social and behavioral sciences. The program aims to address pressing societal problems aligned with at least one of the CSBS’s three grand challenges: inequity and poverty, social and behavioral health, or the digital revolution. Emphasizing interdisciplinary collaboration, the program supports projects that generate new knowledge, develop or test methodologies, or implement and evaluate interventions or publicly engaged programming. All funded work must be grounded in social and behavioral science theory and evidence, and demonstrate potential for significant impact and future external funding.
