Description
Stanford University’s Community of Shared Research Platforms (C-ShaRP) runs this voucher program as part of the C-ShaRP Academy. It supports professional development for shared facility staff who need access to emerging technologies and methodologies but lack resources to explore them. Cross-training provides hands-on experience with specialized instruments, opportunities to develop innovative methods, and connections for interdisciplinary collaboration.
The program prioritizes instrument access, learning new techniques, method development, and professional growth. Its goal is to improve research workflows and help shared facilities respond to evolving faculty and researcher needs. This work supports C-ShaRP’s broader effort to build accessible, advanced, interconnected research platforms across science, engineering, medicine, and sustainability, bridging departmental and school boundaries.
